Quick Start Guide

Thank you for choosing The Shift Device™.

Please read these instructions before using your device and keep this guide for future reference.

Before You Begin

• Fully charge the Shift Device before first use.
• Charge the device once to twice each week, depending on frequency of use.
• The charging indicator light will turn green when the battery is fully charged.
• Remove hearing aids before using the device.

How to Use

1. Power On

Press the Power button (top button).

2. Activate

Press and hold the Activator button (located below the Power button).

3. Position

Hold the Shift Device approximately 7.5 cm (3 inches) away from the body. The device is designed to be used just outside the body's surface and should not touch the skin.

4. Scan

Move the device slowly over:

• Left arm
• Across the chest
• Right arm
• Face
• Head
• Front of both legs
• Groin area
• Entire back

For each area:

• Hold the Activator button for a quick count of six
• Pause for three seconds
• Continue to the next area

First Month of Use

For the first month, hold the device approximately an arm's length from the body if you:

• Take prescription (pharmaceutical) medications
• Live in an apartment or condominium
• Work around numerous computers or electronic equipment
• Are regularly exposed to wireless devices, including cell phones and 5G technology

After the first month, resume the recommended operating distance of 7.5 cm (3 inches) from the body.

Safety Information

Do not use the Shift Device if you have:

• Pacemaker
• Implantable defibrillator (including S-ICD devices)
• Insulin pump
• Pain pump
• Any implanted battery-powered medical device

Do not use:

• While receiving oxygen therapy
• Near an oxygen tank or oxygen concentrator

Pregnancy

There is currently no published clinical research regarding the use of the Shift Device during pregnancy.

If you are pregnant, consult your healthcare provider before use. If you choose to use the device during pregnancy, you do so at your own discretion.

Keep at Least 1 meter (3 feet) Away From

• Credit cards with embedded chips
• Cell phones
• Smart watches
• Laptop computers
• Tablets
• Electronic vehicle keys and key fobs
• Sensitive electronic equipment

Care

• Store in a cool, dry location.
• Do not immerse in water.
• Clean with a soft, dry or slightly damp cloth.
• Do not disassemble or attempt to repair the device.
